Meet Our People

Thank you for your interest in Belstra Milling, Belstra Group Farms and Belstra Transport companies. We are most proud of our great people and are always excited to meet new talent with the same core values. Here is a quick introduction to a few of our talented team players.

Bob Bult

Bob Bult

“After serving in the army, I learned about a job opportunity from Bud, Tim, and Max Belstra, and I decided to apply. This company’s been a big part of my life for the last 42-years. Driving a truck for the transport team, I enjoy the feed delivery process and visiting different farms daily. I am willing to help out wherever I can and always try to put a little humor into every day.”

Ashton Schultz

Ashton graduated from Rensselaer High School, where she was a four-year member of FFA. She was also a ten-year member of 4-H. “A family friend recommended this company to me, and I love the positive, family-oriented atmosphere along with the great ties they have to the community. I work as a retail sales associate and enjoy meeting all the different customers old and new. Belstra’s constantly gives employees the chance to grow and better themselves!”

Ricardo Duran

Ricardo Duran

Ricardo, a graduate of Kankakee Valley High School, spent his summers working in various roles within our pig division. “I learned about the company from my mom who is a valued long-time employee in the pig division. I am currently a mill assistant within the feed division, where I have worked full-time for the past three-years. I would describe this company in three words: Blessed, Mindful, and Community. Everyone here treats you like family, and there is never a dull moment! To me, it’s more than a job, because I enjoy what I do.”

Linda Perry

“As a bookkeeper for Belstra Milling Company, I enjoy the daily challenges as well as all of the people I work with. For the past 33-years I have watched this company stay stable and dependable while demonstrating progressive growth. When I am not at my desk, I enjoy competing in 5k, 10k, and 5-mile races. I did not start running until I was 53!”
