we are:
Belstra
Milling is a family-owned regional independent feed manufacturing company
located in the northwest Indiana town of Demotte. Albert "Bud"
Belstra established the company in 1954. His sons Max and Tim, continued
to operate the business after his retirement in 1987. Max passed on to
glory in 2000. Today the company is directed by Tim Belstra and Malcolm
DeKryger.

What
we do:
Our
main business is manufacturing feed for livestock; mostly swine and
dairy. During the 1990's, a relationship with Pig Improvement Company (PIC),
a swine genetics company, grew such that today, we think of ourselves as a
"supplier of genetics". Not only do we represent PIC and their
products (gilts and semen), we work with producers to help them maximize their
operations through knowledge gained on the farms we manage.
